 Defeating  88 other beauty queens from participating countries to emerge Miss Universe 2013. She takes over from Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo from the United States. 
First Runner-up was Miss Spain, 2nd Runner-up Miss Ecuador , and 3rd Runner-up Miss Philippines
