According to MTO, Gabrielle Union is reportedly expecting a baby with her fiancé, Dwayne Wade. Buzz about Gabby’s pregnancy comes after Dwyane revealed he fathered a child with an ex, Aja Metoyer, just months before proposing to Gabrielle in Dec. 2013.
Gabrielle’s friends reportedly began to suspect a pregnancy when she skipped out on indulging in holiday cocktails which is uncharacteristic of her. “She was at a party, there was champagne everywhere, and she didn’t drink a drop,” a source close to Gabrielle revealed of her holiday season activities.
The site reports that Gabrielle is due in the summer, and showed off a hint of a budding baby bump on her Jan. 7 Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, but Gabby has not confirmed the news.
“Gabby and her fiancé Dwyane have been open about having children, and now that a wedding is around the corner, now is as good a time as ever,” a source told MTO.
Gabrielle has previously opened up about her worries that, at age 41, her body may not allow for conception.
”My eggs are like the thing Indiana Jones finds in the Temple of Doom so I don’t know how many my body can physically have,” Gabrielle told Essence in Nov. 2013. ”I’d be happy with one if that’s what God blesses me with it.”
