Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola Urges Federal Government To Move Petrol Tankers Off The Roads
After the incident of petrol tanker explosion that resulted to loss of lives, houses including bank, cash and cars,Gov. Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State is pleading with Federal Government to take petrol tankers off the roads.
In his statement today he asks Federal government to make sure that fuel is strictly moves on railways in order to avert more tragedies. The fire incident has made the year a bad beginning for victims families he added.
He also sympathized with the families of the victims, but Federal government to take its responsibility to ensure that adequate measures are taken.
The petrol tanker that was carrying 33,000litres of fuel lost its brake,somersaulted and burst into flames claiming lives of people including properties worth of millions.
