NBC Orders Radio Stations To Suspend Ban On Nigerian Artistes

          

Great news for Nigeria Artist who has been banned and their fans. because NBC is ordering to lift imposed on all Nigeria Arists affected. Tuface Idibia could not hide his joy when he posted the photo of NBC pronouncement on his instagram page ..

According to the pronouncements:

1. BON/IBAN recognize that they are to pay artistes copyright royalties,  
2.  BON/IBAN members are obliged to keep adequate logs of all musical works broadcast by them and make sure they are made available upon request by relevant authorities 
3. All payments of musical copyright royalties shall be made to COSON 
4. A joint committee of NBC, NCC, COSON, BON/IBAN will be se up to review all royalty tariffs and ensure they are fair, reasonable and according to standards 
5. Joint committee  are given 90 days after the issuance of these pronouncements,tariff set up bt committee will be in biing on BON/IBAN and COSON members.
6.  To ensure a conducive atmosphere for this committee to do a good job, the ban on Nigerian artistes should be suspended.
7.  NBC will monitor compliance to the agreements reached as contained in these pronouncements.
