Photos: Ondo State Immigration Service Arrests Baby Factory Operators

 

Mr and Mrs Abiodun Ogundei were arrested on Wednesday Jan 29th by the Ondo state Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service for operating illegal baby factory.
According to report from Musa Hassan, the baby factory had been operating for 5years and twenty-one  people including the couple running the factory, pregnant women as well as some nursing mothers were arrested in the building.
 Although one of the suspect Mrs Happiness Ogundeji denied all allegations, she said she was only operating a herbal hospital and the women who were arrested were her patients.

Mrs Happiness also said she runs other business like dredging and construction, De- Choice Construction Comapany in Ore and has 3 filling stations in Port Harcourt Rivers State.

 Meanwhile her husband Abiodun Ogundeji denied knowledge of his wife's business saying that he only knew her only business was Construction and oil and gas and he worked as a Civil Engineer with Chevron, Rivers State.
 Most of those arrested refused to speak to reporters but some who were able to speak said anonymously that they were all impregnated in Imo state and then transferred to Ondo state.

After delivery,  their babies would be taken away from them to an unknown place by Mrs Ogundeji .
They are all currently at the Lagos office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters.
