They are so right and I totally agree with them. Nigeria is so richly blessed with oil but still we are rated as one of the countries with high masses of people suffering due to high amount of corrupt governments.
Summing up financial aids that has been given for the development of our country from the British government yet our people still rot in poverty where only the rich people get richer and buy private jets.

last year Nigeria received £197million(exclusion from previsions years) to help in development of our country but yet it cannot be accounted for in the daily lives of their citizens.

In a major report, the Commons international development committee says it is ‘increasingly difficult to make the case’ for lavishing hundreds of millions of pounds on countries capable of standing on their own two feet.

Increasingly prosperous nations such as Nigeria, Ghana and Pakistan should be offered cheap loans rather than being given huge handouts by the British taxpayer, the report says Ministers have sanctioned huge aid payments to middle-income countries in recent years as total aid spending has increased.

Nigeria received £197million last year, Pakistan £189.2million and Ghana £51.8million. Yet all three are now officially classed as being lower middle income nations, as is India, which received £292million.

 A Dfid spokesman said the department was already moving towards using loans in some cases like floods crisis in Britain. A petition has been issued calling on Government to divert foreign aid to flood-hit British families.
