Unbelievable!: Policeman Children Beat Up A Pregnant Woman To Coma

When will all these evil stop? At least if not totally, let the rate of crime and injustice reduce!..Policemen are meant to guard their citizens not brutalize. In fact discipline is suppose to begin from a policeman's home. Mrs Gloria James was lucky to be alive to tell the story after she was brutalized and beaten to coma by children of a Policeman attached to MOPOL 20, Inspector Richard Ekpo, last Friday. Although she lost her two months pregnancy after doctors tried to save the unborn child failed...Keep reading

According to Mrs James's story, she was allegedly first attacked by one of the policeman’s son identified simply as Olorunda when she demanded for an apology from Olrunda whom she said stepped on her while he was going to smoke Indian hemp from a local dealer around her shop.
Rather than apologies, Olorunda, allegedly pounced on her for daring to ask him to apologise and gave her a thorough beating.

Other shop owners who came to rescue her from his grips withdrew immediately they discovered he was the one because everyone is afraid of him in that area. That was how he continued to hit her, even when she ran inside her shop. It took the intervention of a policeman in uniform to rescue her from him.

As she was nursing her wound , he came back and demanded for N18, 000 for his gold necklace. She told him that the necklace was not with her then he continued to hit her again and destroyed her wares.

When she went to the police station to report her case they showed no interest on hearing the name of their colleague's son. That was when she felt pains in her stomach and she started throwing up. Instead of the policemen to help they asked her to move away so she doesn't mess their office up. Out of pity one of the policeman volunteered to take her to the hospital. On their way they branched to her husband's shop to take some money. On getting back they stopped at the policeman's house to inform him of his son's act but instead of apologizing his wife walked them out of her house.

Another attack
Immediately they came out of the barracks gate, they were attacked by Olorunda, his brothers and their friends. They hit her husband with dangerous objects. In the process she fell down. They kicked her continuously on the stomach until she passed out, only to wake up to find herself in the hospital a week after.

Collaborating her claim, her husband alleged that when he went to report the case at Idimu division, he was thrown inside the cell on the instruction of the Mobile Policeman whose children manhandled his wife. he was released after four days.

“ Again, when I went to open my shop, Inspector Akpo came again with his children to attack me, asking who told me to open the shop. I was teargased inside a supermarket where I had run into to take refuge. Since then, I have not opened my shop,” he lamented.

Following this development, Crime Guard reliably gathered that after getting a strongly worded petition, Force Headquarters, Abuja ordered the immediate arrest of Inspector Ekpo while his children are presently on the run.
