Abducted Wife Of Cameroon’s Deputy PM Rescued While Our Chibok Girls Are Yet To Be Rescued

Is this not pathetic? If Cameroon could be so active and alert to rescue the wife of Cameroon deputy PM, who was kidnapped on Sunday,so what happen to our dear country in whom foreign countries have invested so much money on to make sure the 300 Chibok girls who were kidnapped by same Boko Haram were rescued?. SMH....Security forces in Cameroon Republic have rescued the wife of the country’s Deputy Prime Minister, Amadou Ali, who was abducted on Sunday by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, the BBC Hausa service has reported.

The deputy PM’s wife and her maid were kidnapped in Cameroon’s northern town of Kolofata by the insurgents. The attackers stormed their residence and took the woman away. A military commander in the area said Boko Haram militants engaged Cameroonian soldiers in the town for some time. The deputy prime minister managed to escape the assailants to a neighbouring town.  Reports say that 16 people lost their lives in the rescue operations, although Cameroon information minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary said government was still investigating the matter to ascertain the actual number of people killed.
