Sunday Teaching: Forgiveness Is The Best Form Of Love

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to keep up with my Sunday teachings, but I really noticed that people prefer to read worldly news than reading gospel of Christ but we forget that it's this same word of God that strengthen us when we pass through tribulations.

Forgiveness does not just come from God but also from His flock, Luke 17:3-4 says, Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, “I repent”, you must forgive him.
Everyone is guilty of this sin 'Forgiveness'. Some people say "I can forgive but can't forget". When you can't forget completely what your fellow sister or brother has done to you, then you haven't forgiven him or her.

In essence, because of lack of forgiveness, nation fight against nation, mother fight against father, father fight against children, politicians fight against governors and so on.
The present war between the Israel and Palestine is based on lack of forgiving one another. Without forgiveness the world as a whole will lack peace.

Forgiveness is not always easy but at least we can start by asking God to give us the heart to always learn to forgive because we ourselves are not holy, we sin against God Almighty..
Daniel 9:9. To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him.

Forgiveness is not only meant for Christians, it also apply to true Muslims. For true forgiveness to take place, one must completely take pride out. A proud heart will never truly forgive.

Matthew 6:14-15 says, For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Christ paid the ultimate price when he died on the cross. He was the perfect example for all. May we all strive to forgive everyone as Christ continually forgives us. Don't let your forgiveness mix with bitterness.
