Ex-Gov. Of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi Accused Of Purchasing 123 SUV On Credit



These Ekiti State people with their too much drama.... Former state governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi has been accused of purchasing 123 SUV for traditional rulers on credit therefore leaving the state in a huge debt.

According to the Special Assistant Public Communications and New Media to the governor, Lere Olayinka,said the State is owning over N1.2bn because of the purchase.

The vehicles included 101 Ford cars, 21 Ford Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV), one Toyota Land Cruiser and a Toyota Hilux van were given for the Office of the Chairman of the Council of Obas.

The traditional rulers should all return the cars, sell them and recover some money back. What a shame!

The debt portfolio of ekiti state is indeed most worrisome but the new governor shoud stop all these negative publicity and bend down to governance. Dozie
