Last night at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, the Benin-born singer/Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo and Chaka Khan performed a three-hour live show on stage. They performed most of their top chart songs, Chaka Khan played I’m every woman’ and more then finishing up the night with her 1983 hit song ‘Ain’t Nobody’ while Angelique Kidjo brought her fire to the stage, performing timeless hits like ‘Wombolobo’ and ‘Agolo’.
Other great performances from soul singer/pianist Kaline Akinkugbe, who thrilled the audience with her voice and the keyboard that night.
It was indeed a pleasant night performance that was organize by retro-themed radio station Smooth FM 98.1.
Good to see these two great artist perform.
