Taraba State House of Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa Dies After Just A Brief Illness

The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa, is dead after have a brief illness on Thursday.  Mr. Tsokwa was rushed to Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, the Taraba state capital.hospital on thursday where he was diagonised of an undisclosed ailment.
Kefas Sule, spokesperson Acting Governor Garba Umar confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES that Mr. Tsokwa has died this morning but made no further statement concerning his death.
There were speculations by some of the late speaker’s supporters that Mr. Tsokwa was poisoned, but they could not substantiate the claim.
He is survived by a wife and four children
