Mary Mary Singer Erica Campbell Gets Backlash For Sexy Album Cover

If you were a lover of Christain music back in the late 90s or early 20s  you will remember the two sisters called Erica Atkins-Campbell and Trecina "Tina" Atkins-Campbell (Mary Mary). One of their popular songs "shackles( Praise you) was my favorite.

One of the sisters Erica Campbell has found herself in a bit of a tight spot after releasing a photo on Instagram of herself  wearing an all-white, knee-length body conforming turtleneck dress as tentative album cover.
The photo sparked lots of backlash on both facebook and her instagram. Some of her fans were loving her look while others were not happy with her wardrobe choice, even going so far as to call it “not Christian-like.”
A preacher wrote  on Erica's facebook wall:

“THIS IS NOT OKAY. Yes, you are a beautiful woman...but NO MA’AM YOU ARE SINGING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. Saints...smh COME ON,”

Of course, fans and members of the Christian church came to Erica’s defense, letting her know that they thought that her look was fine, or that it was perfectly OK for a woman of faith to be respectful of her beliefs and assert her sexiness at the same time.
