Britain Modern Slaved Man Was The Son Of One Of Britain's Top Anti-Slavery Experts

Another shot shows a member of the Rooke family, caught kicking Mr Kinsella in the back as he cowers on the driveway
Remember the video I posted  about a man who was Violently forced to work by a family who held him captive against his will? (watch video here) , it has emerged that he is the son of one of Britain’s leading anti-slavery experts.
Craig Kinsella, 34, who was kept ‘like a slave’ and subjected to a six-week campaign of 'unpleasant and casual' violence, was adopted at the age of 12 by Nick Kinsella – the former head of the Britain’s Human Trafficking Centre.
Mr Kinsella says he had ‘no idea’ his son had fallen victim to the Rooke family in Sheffield, three members of which were jailed for between four months and six and a half years for false imprisonment earlier this week.
In his earlier career as a Detective Chief Superintendent, Mr Kinsella helped rescue 252 people, including 25 children, from human traffickers.
But he said that that he had no idea that his own son, who has a low IQ and was adopted after suffering abuse from his natural parents, had himself fallen into a similar situation.
Speaking to the Mirror, former Detective Chief Superintendent Mr Kinsella said:
‘This came out of the blue. We had no idea it was happening to Craig.’‘I've never doubted this could happen to any family - I used to say that when I gave talks… The first I knew was when I got a phone call when I was on the M1 to say Craig had been assaulted.’ ‘We went straight to the hospital and were shocked by what we saw. He looked dirty, he looked hungry. I think he had just eaten three dinners straight in a row,’
