Photos: LASU Students On Violent Riot, Stone Vice Chancellor And Destroying Properties

The students of Lagos State University Ojo has been on a serious riot since yesterday over the closure of the university’s registration portal.

The protest which started yesterday, still continued today after the Vice chancellor Prof. John Obafunwa decided not to open the registration portal for over 2,000 students who are yet to register their second semester courses as exams was to begin today Thursday, even though the banks are still collecting school fees from students.
The VC made a narrow escape after the students threw sticks and stones at him. Students who appeared for the school exams today were beaten and chased by the protesting students. Properties including the Vice Chancellors car was destroyed.
