It was yet another day of blood bath in Yobe as Boko Haram insurgents killed about 29 students at Federal Government College Buni Yadi.
Yobe State police commissioner Sanusi Rufai confirmed that the figure saying that the attackers came last night and killed 29 students and burnt down 24 staff quarters including the adminisstrative block of the college.
Guns were not used in the attack. They used machetes to kill their victims and some were burnt to ashes. According to information, only male students were attacked.
Spokesman of 3 Div Special Operation Battalion, Captain. Lazarus Eli also confirmed the attack.
“We dont have details yet but back our men have been deployed to the area in pursuit of the attackers”, Capt. Eli informed.
