Emire of Yobe Dies in A Ghastly Car Crash

The Emir of Yobe, Alhaji Mahammadu Mai Yeri Ibn Isa II  died today at 2pm in a car crash in Gerei, Adamawa State. The Secretary of the Emirate Council, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Mai Yeri confirmed the news about his death. He will be buried on Tuesday at his home town in Ngelzarma .


He was aged 49 before his sudden death and survived by his two wives and thirteen children.
It is recalled that his late father also died in an auto crash along Damaturu/Maiduguri highway.May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
