A notorious terrorist leader known as Mallam Husaini was shot dead yesterday June 20th along the Jos-Bauch highway by the Nigerian military. This terrorist and his gang has led serial attacks on security personnel and were also involved in the attack on Headquarters, Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Abuja in November 2012. He also led the attack on military convoy moving from Lokoja to Kaduna where 2 soldiers were killed in January 2013.
His death came after his gang attacked some military convoy while on an operational patrol between Jos and Bauchi.The gangs were over powered and shot dead. he military recovered the Ford bus used by the terrorists to operate, 8 Primed Improvised Explosive Devices, rifles, pistols and about 70 rounds of ammunition.
