Kim Kardashian's 20-Carat Engagement Ring From Her Ex-husband Auction For $620,000


Finally the Lorraine Schwartz sparkler given to Kim by her 72days ex-husband Kris Humphries, when he proposed to her back in 2011 has been sold for a whopping sum of $620,000. It was confirmed last month that Kris was selling the ring which was originally reported to have cost $2 million. But following the estimate of Christie's jewellery experts, it appears that he paid far less for the ring than reported at the time.
The whole ring totals at a whopping 20.5 carats, and is made up of a 16.21-carat rectangular-cut center diamond with I color, VS1 clarity, and two 1.80-carat side diamonds.


Although the online buyer is yet to be identified but will be have to cough up a grand total of $749K with commission and fees. The auction sales took place at at a Christie’s auction in New York City.
