KIB Reader: I Fell In Love With The Perfect Man BUT He Has HIV

I have a question for you because this has kept me up all night and i don't know what to do.
Say you’ve been talking to someone for months. You’ve never had sex with him, but you start to have feelings for him. He’s everything you’re looking for in a man and more…even without sex.
One day he asks you, “Could you be celibate (abstain from sex) for the rest of your life because I’m HIV positive?” Can you continue to have a relationship and be with this person and just be celibate or would you ignore your feelings for him, and the fact that he’s pretty much everything you’ve ever wanted in a man and remove yourself from the situation?

Why will you want to stick with someone with that status? i am not saying it is bad but considering you are human and sex is never ruled out of your life. you might be tempted to sleep with him one day.why will you chose to go into such relationship when you know the end result might not be conducive for you? Maybe it all infatuation not love but whichever one good luck. ~Dayo
