There Is No UAE Visa Ban Or Restrictions For Nigerians

 There were rumours this month that there are new visa rules ban for travellers to the United Arab Emirates(UAE) countries from Nigeria. New reports emerging from a staff of the UAE embassy in Abuja, says there are no age restriction or ban for Nigerian travellers to Dubai.

The  news alleged that the new rules banned “single and unmarried Nigerians who are less than 40 years old from visiting the country except the person is accompanied by someone who is above 40 and bears the same surname with them.” A staff at the UAE embassy who pleaded to be anonymous told Weekly Trust;
 “The Mission is aware of this and has received several emails and questions about it. These are just rumours. We’ve told Nigerians to wait to hear from us. We haven’t heard from the UAE and if any such were to happen, the ambassador would have a press conference to notify Nigerians about it and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would also be involved.”
On the delays some agents complain they now experience with securing visas for their clients, the source said: “The Embassy can’t have a say on that because the person did it directly. We don’t deal with agents.”
 So relax Dubai lovers, you can travel as you want....
