Sunday Teachings: Overcoming Spirit Of Jealousy(Part2)

 Jealousy is a demonic spirit and a demonic force that many failed to recognize. Jealousy has a few allies that work side by side like envy, suspicion, distrust and selfishness. But the head demon is known as a Principality that is in authority over the Jealousy is called "Paranoia", which is the spirit of FEAR.

 As Christians we are given the power over demonic attack. Turn to Mark 16:17; "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;"

CONTROLLING JEALOUSY 
Being set free from the spirit of jealousy is easy. However, maintaining your deliverance requires more work.

Being set free means that now you have to "maintain" your deliverance in order to keep your deliverance from the spirit of Jealousy.
 Watch the attitude of your heart. Jealousy starts in your mind first. Then after thinking about it over and over in your mind. You start to believe what your mind is thinking in your heart. Your heart's attitude begins to change. The you think about it, the more you get angry with jealousy.
 Remember, the devil is a thief and he comes to steal from you. How? Through lies and deception by using your ignorance of the Word of God and use it against you. 

(John 10:10); "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
( Hosea 4:6); "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." What can the devil steal from you? Everything, if you let him. How? Through your ignorance of the Word of God.

God's Word reveals the spiritual laws that governs the supernatural realm that God has put in place. If we abide within the spiritual laws of God then we inherit His blessings. God's laws is automatic. However, if we try to abide within the spiritual laws using the laws of the world, then God's blessings will not come. Unbelievers uses the laws of this physical world and try to apply it to God's laws and it just doesn't work. Their not even the compatible to each other. You can say that one is oranges and the other is bananas, they're not the same.

There is two words that will guarantee complete control over jealousy in your life and they are:
1- Submit: Submit to God and His Word. Without God and His Word, there is no chance for victory over jealousy.
2- Resist::  Resist the temptation of jealousy by using the word of God at the first sign of jealousy.
